In the bible, God says: “I am a jealous God!” Exodus 34:14 says, You shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God." 

 

Yet, there are people all over the world who provoke the Lord to jealousy by bowing down to worship other gods several times per day. If people who are not of the Christian faith can bow down in reverence to worship their gods (many) times per day. How many more times per day should we as (Christians) be bowing down to our God: the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob? The answer is, many more times than we are accustomed to. And we should be doing this more and more every day, particularly as the time grows closer to Jesus Christ's return. After all, Romans 14:11 says, "...as I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me..." Wouldn't it be great if he found you already in the bowing position upon his arrival?

THE BOWING PLACE was established in order to do just that, to remind Christians to purposely take time throughout the day to bow down to God in quiet reverence and worship,  Psalm 95:6 says, "Let us worship & bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker."
